The German pianist Andreas Frölich studied with Vitaly Margulis and Pavel Gililov. He is prize winner of several international piano competitions, as in Senigallia, the international piano competition "Palma d'Oro" in Finale Ligure or the international music competition in Vienna. He concertised in the most famous venues in Europe, South America, Asia, South Africa and Australia. He was guest at may international music festivals, such as Rheingau Musikfestval, Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival, Osterfestspiele Salzburg, Mozartfest Würzburg, Schubertiade Roskilde etc. As a soloist Andreas Frölich apeared with many famous orchestras, among them Wiener Kammerphilhamonie, Salzburger Chamber Soloitsts, Stuttgarter Kammerorchester,  Deutschen Kammerakademie Neuss, Münchener Kammerorchester, Suk Chamber Orchestra Prag, Kammerphilharmonie Amadé, Rheinische Philharmonie Koblenz, Münchener Kammerorchester, Kuopio Symphonic orchestra , Johannesburg Philharmonic, the national orchestra of Peru, Concerto Málaga, Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Halle, Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester Mannheim, Russian Philharmonic Moskau, Beethoven Orchester Bonn, St. Petersburger Philharmonic, Kyimi Sinfonietta Finnland, Tallinn Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Symphonique Luxembourg, Orchestre de Bretagne, Lutoslawski Philharmonie Breslau and the Württembergischen Kammerorchester. Andreas Frölich is a superb chamber musician and a great coach. As a chamber musician, he often performs with Ensemble Vienna led by the concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic. Andreas Frölich is pianist of the international Mendelssohn Trio Berlin, togheter with Uta Kunert, violin and Ramon Jaffé, cello. In the last years his students won more than 25 prizes (1e and 2e) at international piano competitions. He recorded for many major radio station in Germany, and released a number of award-winning  CD's for different labels like CPO, Koch/Schwann, DIVOX, Signum, VMS, EMI, FONO, OEHMS and BMG.  Andreas Frölich is artistic director and president of the jury of the Prix Amadèo International Piano Competition in Aachen, artistic leader of the AmadèO chamber music festival in Aachen, the Euriade Festival and the Orpheo concert series in Rolduc/Kerkrade. Since autumn 2006 he teaches a master class at the Hochschule für Musik (Music Academy) at Cologne, several master classes as well in many other european countries and will give a masterclass at the "Sommerakademie Salzburg" in 2011.
