Natalia Trull

Natalia Trull began studying piano in her native St. Petersburg. She later moved to Moscow where she graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. Among her teachers were professors Y. Zak, M. Voskresensky and T. Kravchenko.

Her performance career was launched when she won first prize at the Belgrade International Piano Competition in 1983. However, the biggest success came in 1986 she won the silver medal at the Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition. The public was swept off its feet by her interpretation of composers such as Schubert and Stravinsky. Her “Petrushka” suite left an everlasting impression on the public and critics alike.

In 1993, Natalia Trull was awarded the Grand Prix at the Piano Masters Competition in Monte-Carlo (where only winners of international competitions are accepted as participants).

Natalia Trull’s complete control and fantastic virtuosity place her in a class of her own, and she is in great demand as a performer all over the world. Among the distinguished orchestras with whom she has performed are the London Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre de Monte-Carlo, Tonhalle Symphony Orchestra and all of the major Russian Symphony Orchestras.

Natalia Trull has also played with such conductors as Raphael Frubeck de Burgos, Raymond Leppard, Jean-Bernard Pommier, Eri Klas, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Vassily Sinaisky, Yuri Temirkanov and many others.

Her repertoire includes over 50 concertos, of which the Tchaikovsky concerto has proved to be the most popular, the pianist having performed the work on over one hundred occasions in the world’s leading concert halls. Her most brilliant performances of the Tchaikovsky concerto were in Hollywood Bowl under Eri Klas and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and in Suntory Hall with Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Koizumi Kazuhiro (1998-99 season). Natalia’s performances today are remarkable for her total absorption in the music her unique stage presence and technical mastery in presenting a wide repertoire of works. From 2000 Natalia Trull is Professor at the Moscow Tchaikovky Concervatory. Also she is frequently invited to give masterclasses to the U.S.A., Japan, Italy, Germany, South America etc. Jury member of many international piano competitions such as International Telekom Beethoven Piano Competition, Valencia International Piano Competition, Monte-Carlo Piano Masters Competition, International Mozart Competition Salzburg etc.

Philippe Raskin

Philippe began piano lessons with Aleksandr Friedland, a Russian conductor, and continued working with Bernadette Malter and Loredana Clini. He developed his artistry furthermore with Emanuel Krasovksy, Vincenzo Balzani, Ralf Gothóni, and Leon Fleisher on the piano in addition with Johannes Meissl and Hatto Beyerle for chamber music.

At the age of 16, he began studying at the Royal Conservatorium of Brussels in the class of Jean- Claude Vanden Eynden. In the same year, he obtained his first degree with the highest honours. He then joined the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel (still with Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden) and graduated again with highest honours, receiving the diploma from H.M. the Queen of Belgium. During the same period he completed his Masters degree at the Royal Conservatorium of Brussels.

In 2005 he entered the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia in Madrid where he worked for four years under the tutelage of Dimitri Bashkirov and Claudio Martínez Mehner. As early as the first year, he received from H.M the Queen of Spain the Sobresaliente Prize at the Pardo Palace. In 2010, Philippe started studying at the Strasbourg Conservatory with Amy Lin for a “Diplome de Spécialisation” where he graduated with the highest honours. In 2012 & 2013, he worked with Leonel Morales.

Philippe has won several national and international competitions, amongst others: the J.S. Bach Competition, the Gretry Rotary Competition, the Paris International Piano Competition, the Lions Club Competition, and the André Dumortier International Piano Competition. In 2012, he became a prizewinner at the Lyon International Piano Competition and won first prize at the “Spanish Composers” International Piano Competition in Madrid.

Philippe has performed many recitals, as part of chamber groups and as a soloist with orchestras all over the world - in renowned concert halls such as the Grand Hall of Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Musikverein in Vienna or at the Philharmonie in Berlin. He was also invited by the Chopin Foundation in Warsaw to perform in the birthplace of the composer. Philippe regularly performs with orchestras, notably the Belgian National Orchestra, the Flanders Symphony Orchestra and the Salzburg Chamber Soloists amongst many others. His chamber music partners include artists such as Clemens Hagen, Jérôme Pernoo, Miguel Da Silva etc.

Philippe also regularly performs contemporary music and has taken part in several world premieres. Many composers have dedicated works to him, including "Stringent & Tremulation" from Belgian composer Jean-Marie Rens, "Piano Sonata" from Turkish composer Serkan Gürkan and "Sonata Der Hunt" from Austrian composer Christoph Ehrenfellner.

Philippe is invited each year to be a member of the jury in several international piano competitions including the International “Piano Talents” Competition Milan, the Lyon International Piano Competition and is the artistic director of the César Franck International Piano Competition and the International Music Festival Paris. He is also a regular member of the jury at the "MozArte" Competition in Cologne, the "Spanish Composers" Competition in Madrid as well as the Chopin Competition in the United States, the "Cita de Cantu" Competition etc.

In 2009, Philippe opened his piano school and also gives many masterclasses in Belgium and abroad. From 2016, Philippe was the artistic director of the “Resonances Musique de Chambre” Festival in France and began teaching at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Philippe is also a member of the international piano faculty in Brescia and at the International Academy of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

German pianist Andreas Frölich studied with Stefan Askenase , Vitaly Margulis in Freiburg and Pavel Gililov in Cologne . He was prizewinner of several international piano competitions , as in Senigallia , Finale Ligure ,Vienna , Milano, and many others... He concertises in the most famous venues in Europe, South America, Asia, South Africa and Australia like Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Musikverein Wien, Solitär Salzburg, Teatro Colón Buenos Aires, Cologne Philharmonie, Munich Philharmonie "Gasteig",Konzerthaus Berlin, Hamburg Musikhalle, Bielefeld Oetkerhalle, Stuttgart Liederhalle, Wiesbaden Kurhaus, Teatro municipal Rio de Janeiro, Teatro Alfa y Cultura artistica Sao Paolo, de Doelen Rotterdam , Vredenburg Utrecht, Salle Gaveau Paris,Caroussel de Louvre Paris, Mozarteum Salzburg and many others as well as in the most important music fertivals , such as Rheingau Musikfestival, Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival, Salzburg, Emilia Romagna Festival, Schubertiade Roskilde and many other Festivals worldwide.

Andreas Frölich is pianist of the Mendelssohn Trio Berlin and he often performed with Ensemble Wien led by the concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic. He recorded for many national (in Germany) and international radio stations and released more than 40 CD´s ( a number of them award winning) for different labels like , OEHMS CLASSICS, CPO, EMI, BMG, Divox, Signum, Fono.

Andreas Frölich is artistic director and chairman of the international MozArte piano competition Aachen, artistic director of the "MozArte " international music Festival and artistic leader of the "Orpheo concert series " for young prizewinners in Kerkrade/NL. He is professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln -Aachen and Kalaidos Musikhochschule Zürich and guest professor at the Talent music Masters academy in Brescia, at the international summeracademy Mozarteum Salzburg, the Euro Arts academy , the Online Piano Masterclass Academy in Spain and he gives masterclasses worldwide .In the last years his students won more than 100 prizes (first and second) at international piano competitions. He is often inivited as jury member in many international piano competitions (Madrid, Beethoven competition Bonn, Valencia, Ferrol, Granada , Enschede/NL, Brussels , Japan piano open / Tokyo ,Campillos/ Spain, Larnaca/Cyprus, Gorizia/ Italy , Skrjabin, Grosseto, Hongkong /Guanghzhou, La Rioja/Spain, Russian Int.piano Competition). Andreas Frölich is an official Steinway Artist .

RUBEN DALIBALTAYAN

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Ruben currently lives in Croatia. He serves as a Professor at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, as well as at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. He is also a Guest Professor in the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein, as well as in the “Talent Music Master Courses” in Brescia. Ruben is the President of the Alexander Scriabin Society of Croatia and Artistic Director of Radovljica International Piano Competition in Slovenia.

Ruben raised a new generation of young pianists who achieved tremendous results and became prize winners of various international competitions as Ferruccio Busoni, Queen Elizabeth, Robert Schumann in Zwickau, Ettlingen, etc. Some of them as Ivan Krpan and Aljosa Jurinic succeeded to make an outstanding international career and became one of the most successful pianists of the young generation.

As part of his pedagogical work, he holds masterclasses on a regular basis in Croatia and abroad. His noteworthy projects include the founding of the piano summer school in Makarska, Croatia in 2005 together with Julia Gubajdullina. The seaside piano master course has since evolved into one of the most prominent events for young pianists in the region.

He studied in Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the guidance of Anahit Shahbazyan, Arthur Berngardt, and Valery Kastelsky. His professional and personal formation has been greatly influenced by a number of outstanding musicians such as Boris Berlin, Lazar Berman, and Alexis Weissenberg.

Ruben is a winner of many prestigious international piano competitions in Armenia, China, Croatia, and Italy. His concert tours include numerous countries. The performances range from solo recitals and concerts with Symphony orchestras to participation in chamber ensembles – a piano duo with his wife Julia Gubajdullina and the well-known “Amadeus Trio Zagreb” to be mentioned.

As a pianist he gives special attention and dedication to the promotion of the works of Armenian composers, interesting and original music inseparably linked to the culture of his native country. In collaboration with the Croatian Radio and Croatian Music Institutе, he recorded the entirety of the piano opus of the famous Croatian composer Blagoje Bersa. For this double CD, Ruben received the highest acknowledgment of the Croatian Ministry of Culture – “Vladimir Nazor Award” for greatest achievements in music and arts.
